W.Shields Jett has been licensed in real estate in Virginia since 1979 and a licensed real estate broker since 1987. In 1980, when he began in the real estate business, it was his desire to deal exclusively in land. This determination developed into over 40 years of expertise in the listing and selling of large tracts of land in Central Virginia. He earned the reputation with colleagues and professionals in other fields as “The Land Specialist Since 1980.”

In July of 2007, a career long dream came to fruition with the formation of Jett Land & Realty LLC.  Jett Land & Realty LLC lists and sells farms, timberland and transitional properties in approximately 22 counties around Richmond, Virginia. W. Shields Jett tracks and personally maintains a database of sales of parcels (over fifty acres in size) in and around Central Virginia. This unique database of information combined with forty years of focused expertise has resulted in: professionals seeking collaboration, ongoing requests for services, and consistent referrals from satisfied clients.

Shields Jett was a member of the Realtors Land Institute and has held the Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation as recognized by the National Association of Realtors. Shields is presently a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Central Virginia Regional Multiple Listing Service, the Richmond Association of Realtors, the South Central Association of Realtors, and the South Central Multiple Listing Service.
